St. Francis Animals Rescue Center

Organized by St. Francis Animal Rescue Center

Time is coming soon
We have received an extention until March 31. Any cats remaining at that time will be seized by Animal Control. We cannot -and will not - allow that to happen! 57 kitties remain at St. Francis Animal Rescue Center, so we still need to provide for them with food and litter. (A separate ChipIn has been formed for their spay/neuter, shots and other medical care, plus assistance to foster parents for their needs: https://www.piston.chipin.com/contribute/id/792af4aad9a8ba67) Thank you to all of you who are helping us now and have helped the kitties through the years. They have a life now because of you.
We have a temporary stay but need homes and rescue
Hi Everyone! First of all, I thank the many, many people who have come to the aid of the kitties. Kind people have networked our plight and need for help, others came and rescued kitties by adopting or fostering 1 or 2 (or more), rescue groups came and took groups, kitty lovers drove long distances to rescue, and many got down and dirty by cleaning, painting, and sprucing up our kitty home. We could not have gotten to where we are now without your help. You are kitty angels and other friends of SFARC across the globe join me in deep gratitude for saving so many lives.

Here is an update of Monday's proceedings: There was no actual hearing. The judge and our attorney and the animal control attorney went into a room and came out with their decision. They said we have until March 18th to move the shelter to a new location. That we absolutely have to be out of our present building and that any cats still in that building on the 18th would be picked up and killed. They said that we could not bring any cats that were fostered out back into that building. They have to stay in foster care until we are in our new location. That is all that was said.

So we still need assistance with caring for the kitties and welcome those who can volunteer an hour or two. But the greatest need is rescue for those kitties still at the shelter. Some wonderful furries are still hoping for homes. And, of course, we still have to feed them, give them medicine, and provide lights and heat. We are grateful for any financial help you can provide. Thank you, dear friends.

Love you all!
Please, Please, we beg of you to help save the kitties of St. Francis
Animal control wants to take our kitties. We cannot let them do that.We need foster homes, adoptive homes, and money to buy new buildings to keep our kitties safe. In the meantime, we still need to feed them and give them medicine. Please, Please help us out.Purr =^..^=
